“I need wall color for my home and don’t know which colors to choose!” Sound familiar? You’re not alone. So many people are getting ready to paint their home now that the Spring Home Improvement season is just about here, they are left with the dreaded choice of decided what colors to use for their home and figuring out how to do it.
How do we go about choosing color for our home? Well there are literally dozens of ways to go about this from reading about your choices online to going to going to the closest paint store and hoping for the best.
Take a look at this chart and see which colors are most popular in the home then I’ll show you colors that you really should think about as a new and innovative choice.
Long gone are the dirty golds, burgundy and green combinations, sage green and beige duos and we all know that beige is not even an option at this point. People are really looking to brighten and lighten their home. We all want happy color and colors combinations that are new and ones that we normally don’t see together but what are they? Come take a look at some colors that I designed in a trio that would be beautiful for just about any home.
As per the chart I have shown up top, there’s a really good chance that you have blue in your home. Did you ever think of using a pink-purple with it? Look at Wishing Well by Benjamin Moore and see if it works with the gray-blue that you have in your home.
Now this trio I absolutely LOVE!!! Look at Corel Gables also by Benjamin Moore. Do you have gray in your home? Again, based on my chart of the top three colors to have in the home I bet you do.
We know gray goes with just about everything but try a different, brighter choice and see how your home comes alive. I also bet you have white trim and chair rail in parts of your home so that coral color will really stand out. Try it in your family room and put the gray in the kitchen. 
Do you know where I got these colors? I did it the old-fashioned way and opened up a magazine. I think it was Southern Living and just started looking at the pictures. I looked at ALL the pictures not just the ones that really stood out. I looked at sheet colors and pattern, pillows, food advertisements and pictures of gardens. The colors are so amazing I literally came up with at least a dozen of these trios without a blink of an eye.
Oh and just an FYI, don’t look on Pinterest, yes I just said that, because there you’ll find the colors that are already flooded in the market and all the colors that everyone else likes.
